Hey One Spirit People!
These men and women served our country but now they need our help.
The Veterans Service Center in Pine Ridge provides temporary shelter to about 15 homeless veterans. The veterans arrive there in need of food and personal hygiene items. Your donations will help provide these basic necessities. The Lakota Veterans would also like to inspire pride and dignity. We have all been to funerals or holiday celebrations and felt the pride of watching men and women in crisp uniforms conduct military and honorary presentations. These Veterans have asked for 20 uniforms and boots for the men and women to participate in ceremonial occasions.
Memorial Day is May 30th.
Their Veterans Powwow is June 9-11.
The military uniforms cost about $250 each, including boots. Can we help them get the uniforms and boots they need in time for Memorial Day this year?
These men and women answered the call to serve our country. Can we answer their call?
