Outside of the Buffalo Charging Facility

As buildings go, the Charging Buffalo facility is pretty small. But don't judge the impact it will have by its physical size.

The Ripple Effect

Not only will Tatanka Watapke provide employment for the Lakota workers there, it will also be a place where the huntsmen of Pine Ridge can bring their harvested animals for processing, enabling them to provide traditional foods for their families once again. This sustainable food source will allow more Lakota families to feed themselves, reducing the need for a "food program." The facility will keep a small portion of the harvested meat which will be used in the food distribution program. The Lakota culture of sharing will provide traditional meat to those in need.
