Making the list more userfriendly
|Thanks to Bruce Schuman and his mad programming skills, donating to someone on the Okini list has just been simplified! This upgrade eliminates the confusion that might have plagued the old Google Docs form and speeds up our response time! YAY!|
How does it work?
Click the link to access the list: http://okini.net
This is the beautiful, new look of the Okini list! You can choose to view just the first 20, some of the families or all of them at once. When you find a family you would like to help, "select" them by clicking their yellow box on the right.
After selecting a family, this is the next page you see. Let us know what you are sending, and fill in your contact information and "save." Next time you decide to help someone, your information will "autofill" to save you from having to re-type it!
When you have saved your information and what you are hoping to send, you will automatically receive an email with the recipient's name and mailing address. How cool is that?!?
Then by clicking the donation tracking link in your email, this page comes up automatically! You can also receive a receipt for your donation by clicking the "Send Receipt" option, then "SAVE my information".
Help with a personal touch
Streamlining the process for our wonderful donors doesn't mean the program is unmanned or impersonal... it's just easier to use!
Check it out!
By simplifying the Okini donation process, we hope more people will be encouraged to use it, and more Lakota families will benefit from it.
So, please check it out, find a family you can help, and test the system!
And as always, thank you for supporting the Oglala Lakota through ONE Spirit!
