These families and elders are currently looking for sponsors:
A request for a sponsor to make an Elder's life easier.
This gentleman is 66 years old. He spends his life in his wheelchair due to only having one leg.
He lives in a drafty trailer that’s really cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.
Because he isn’t living in social housing he gets no help with repairs to his trailer.
His income is low, so he goes without food at times. Paying for his electricity is a real struggle for him.
He does have some neighbors but his trailer is situated away from the town. His son pops in to check on him and will drive him to the hospital etc. for appointments.
If this Elder had a sponsor his whole life would be so much easier.
Please consider helping him in his twilight years. #149-58-0917-01
A determined young lady is wanting to beat the odds. She has been accepted at a local college on the Rez, working toward a degree in Office Technology/Business Management. She is currently living with relatives since she does not qualify for school housing. She has no income to live on her own. Not wanting to burden her relatives with additional expenses, she is hoping for a sponsor to help with her basic needs, and to reach her goal. #140-02-0917-01
We are looking for a sponsor for a cute 14 month old baby boy.
He lives with his single mother, grandfather, aunt (16 years old) and uncle (15 years old).
His mother is on very low income and has to help towards the bills as well as feed and clothe her baby boy.
Jobs are hard to come by on the reservation but his mom tries very hard to get work. His grandfather has no work either.
Winter is coming and this baby really needs a sponsor to help buy him some warm clothes.
A sponsor for this cute baby boy will really help with his progress as he grows up.
Please have a stake in his future. #149-06-0917-01
